typical local agriturismo, with farm breeding the cows, rooms for rent in a farmhouse and winery, producing own Franciacorta (by the way not a bad one), restaurant is huge with two big rooms and a couple of smaller ones, the place is fully packed at Saturday lunch and a bit noisy, very limited menu with some dishes mostly of meat, but a very good antipasti contains of many tasty things, plus a good risotto, fast service.
an unexpected discovery, lovely place, made inside a building belong to old railway station, modern restaurant-bar with a small place for live concerts, nice terrace with stunning lake views, super creative chef Carlo, who cooks local products mixing them in unusual combinations playing with different tastes and resulting in very delicious dishes, guys just opened a small own distillery (located on the special upper level), they make yummy drinks and very creative cocktails, great friendly atmosphere, very good service, highly recommended, open whole day till midnight.
super tasty seafood place located right in the port of Clusane, extensive menu full of dishes made of local fish caught in the lake, amazing antipasti with different types of fish to try them all, seafood pasta is great too, local typical fish "Tinca" is a killer (baked in the oven with bread crusts and cheese, serving with polenta), large wine card, white house wine slightly fizzing is a lifehack, beautiful lake views, very friendly stuff, homemade desserts (if you still have a space after main dishes), don't miss this place.
elegant restaurant located in Paratico right on the lake's shore with amazing views, large menu full of everything with varieties of local fish & seafood mostly come from the lake (speciality of the place), raw seafood is super fresh, pasta alle vongole is very delicious, wine card is huge, chilling music on the background, nice atmosphere, welcoming fast service, homemade tiramisu paired with Brauglio digestive is a bomb, highly recommended place. Closed on Mondays.
typical old trattoria in Clusane town, the owner is mad about roosters (Itialian = il gallo), so everything inside is dedicated to rooster and made in a very stylish way, liked all those figures and statues of roosters placed around, cuisine is following local antic recipes, menu of course is full of fish from Lago d'Iseo, spaghetti with tiny prawns in tomato sauce with spicy olive oil is a great choice, fresh grilled fish caught in the morning in the lake is worth tasting too. Closed on Tuesdays.
brand new modern place in Paratico opened just in summer 2019 in a reconstructed historical railway station's building, where the trains were kept for "having a rest", nice concept, rooms for rent at one side and a small bistrot at another, chef Alberto Bittu cooks perfectly, he works in Brescia as a private chef and here a part-time, seasonal millefoglie with pumpkin and mushrooms is crazily tasty, risotto alla Franciacorta is perfectly made, good service, cozy atmosphere. Open everyday for breakfasts and dinners, brunches on Sat-Sun, aperitifs every evening.
