2019 #Lombardia | Tenuta il Bosco winery, Oltrepo Pavese

One day in Oltrepò Pavese is definitely not enough to learn this amazing viticulture and winemaking zone, however during this #winetrip I've had the only one and it made me sure I'll definitely come back. Oltrepò is one of those non-posh (yet) Italian winemaking areas, staying usually in the shade of the giants like Piemonte or Toscana, but the zone is famous in Italy for my fave grape on earth #PinotNoir (yes, that's why I'm here). There are a lot of nice local small winemak

    2019 #Piemonte | E.Pira&Figli winery, Barolo

    E. Pira & Figli winery is located right in Barolo village. The estate has a very nice history and ancient winemaking traditions. Nowadays it is run by Chiara Boschis, the daughter of Franco Boschis, who bought this winery but kept the ancient name of E.Pira as it was very well known and recognized in Barolo area for many years. Actually Pira were an ancient family of winemakers, who were noticed in #Barolo since the 17th century and became winemakers between 19th and 20th cen

    2019 #Piemonte | Travaglini winery, Gattinara

In the small wine production zone of Gattinara, where total acreage of the vineyards is only about 90 hectares, having property of almost a half of them means you're one among a couple of the largest #wine producers. This is said about Travaglini, who definitely deserves an attention. Travaglini has 44 hectares planted under vines in #Gattinara in Piemonte, the majority of them of course is Nebbiolo (locally known as Spanna) one of the noblest grape varieties in the world, an
